Cupping: when and why I integrate it into a session

Cupping is a tool. It does not exist here as a treatment you book on its own. If I use it, it is after listening to and observing you, within a Sports Massage or Lymphatic Drainage session.

What the cupping technique is

Cups are placed on the skin. They create local suction. Depending on the moment and the need, they may stay in place or glide over prepared skin.

This is not a massage in the sense that you reserve it for itself. It is a resource I choose — or not — during the session.

What it can bring to the body

Without promising a result, cupping can accompany a sense of local decongestion and a different quality of touch on certain areas.

What you feel depends on the person, the day and how I integrate the tool. I do not promise medical treatment or an aesthetic outcome.

When I may integrate it

I may consider cupping when the body presents areas of tension or congestion where this tool seems relevant after listening and observation.

That can happen in a Sports Massage or a Lymphatic Drainage session, if the context calls for it. You do not have to decide in advance.

Contraindications and precautions

Before any session, I listen to you. Tell me about your history, ongoing treatments and anything that concerns your comfort or health.

If a situation does not allow cupping to be used safely within a wellness framework, I will not use this resource. The decision remains mine, after our exchange.

In summary

This is not a separate treatment. It is one of the tools I may integrate into your session, if I judge it appropriate after listening to and observing you. You do not have to choose: that is my work.
